Sara Yancey, Heidi Wilson, Brenda Thomas and Lisa Hilton AIN1T 
MISBEHAVIN2 they are the members of Astound 
Sound Quartet! 
These ladies have been singing together since 1999 and have competed 
at Sweet Adeline Region 25 competition for the past 5 years. BLUE 
SKIES are smiling at Sara Yancey who sings tenor and has taught 
special education for over 20 years. Sara arranges and 3re-arranges2 
many of our songs! Sara is married to Charles and they have 2 
children, Bryce and Leah. Heidi sings lead in the quartet and directs the 
Parent1s Day Out program at Melonie Park Church. Heidi earned her 
Bachelor Degree in Music Education from Texas Tech. Heidi is married 
to a BALD-HEADED MAN named Andy and they have 2 sons, Davis and 
Keller. Brenda Thomas is one BEAUTIFUL DOLL and sings Baritone. 
She has been singing Barbershop music longer than anyone in the 
quartet. Brenda is a registered nurse and is married to Jim. They just 
became grandparents to Kailey and are the proud parents of James, 
Austin, Shawna, Jacob and Jordan. Lisa Hilton sings bass in the quartet. 
Lisa has also sung Bluegrass music with her family, The Batten Family 
for 15 years. Lisa has the FEVER for her husband, David and they 
have a daughter Kelly. Lisa1s passion is her granddaughter: Annabelle. 
THERE IS A MEETIN1 each time Astound Sound sings their favorite 
sacred and traditional barbershop songs. WE ARE FAMILY with the 
Prairie Winds Chorus in Lubbock, Texas. Astound Sound donates a 
portion of the money they earn to the South Plains Autism Network 
(SPAN). We hope to help this group BUILD A MOUNTAIN for children 
like Heidi1s son, Keller, who have Autism.
