CO-DIRECTOR
Annette Gary
Annette has been a member of Prairie Winds since 1996. She is a baritone section leader and sings
baritone with the current Region 25 champion quartet, Rendition. She has been on the Board of Directors
for seven years, served as President for five years and has also served as Vice-President, Membership Chair,
Costume Chair and Grants Chair. She is a member of the Region 25 Education Faculty and is the current
Education Coordinator, having served two terms as Communications/Technology Coordinator. She is an
Approved Candidate Judge in the International Judging Program in the Expression category. Annette was
born in Big Spring, grew up in Cloudcroft, NM, and has lived in
Lubbock since 1982. She received both her Bachelor and Master degrees in Nursing from Texas Tech
University and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Science/Nursing from the University of Texas Health Sciences
Center in San Antonio. She is the Director of Psychiatric Nursing at Sunrise Canyon Hospital and an
Associate Clinical Professor, TTUHSC School of Nursing. Annette has been married to Lonnie for 25
years, and is the mother of Emily McNeese, and daughter of Sue Harwell, both of whom are members of
Prairie Winds.
